3M 5490 PTFE film tape is a grey PTFE slick-surface extruded film with pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive and smooth, lay-flat backing.

High heat reflectivity to protect temperature-sensitive materials against heat damage and hot spots

Cover web-former edges to minimize friction during folding

Anti-stick for ready release and clean-up of hot plastic; prevent plastic film sticking to heat bar
